By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Clipa software (hereinafter "the Software", "the Application", or "Clipa"), you (hereinafter "the User") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter "the Terms"). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Software.
2.1. Clipa is a professional video editing application with integrated artificial intelligence capabilities, including:
2.2. All AI processing is performed 100% locally on the User's device. No audio, video, or text content is sent to external servers.
3.1. Free Trial. New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. The trial activates upon account creation.
3.2. License Purchase. After the trial period, continued use requires purchasing an annual license through clipa.com.mx.
3.3. License Scope. Each license is personal, non-transferable, and authorizes the use of Clipa on a single device at a time.
3.4. License Restrictions. The User may not:
4.1. The Software, including code, design, AI models, trademarks, and all associated materials, is the exclusive property of Clipa and its licensors.
4.2. The User retains all intellectual property rights over the content they create using the Software (videos, audio, images).
4.3. The User is solely responsible for ensuring that the content they create does not infringe upon third-party intellectual property rights.
5.1. Available payment methods: Stripe, PayPal, and MercadoPago.
5.2. All prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and Mexican Pesos (MXN). Applicable taxes are included.
5.3. Refund Policy. The User may request a full refund within the first 15 calendar days after license purchase. After this period, no refunds will be issued.
The use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at clipa.com.mx/privacy. By accepting these Terms, the User also accepts the Privacy Policy.
7.1. The Software is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
7.2. Clipa does not warrant that the Software will operate without interruption or error, nor that it will meet the User's specific requirements.
8.1. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Clipa shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the Software.
8.2. Clipa's total cumulative liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by the User in the 12 months preceding the claim.
The User agrees not to use the Software to:
Clipa may publish periodic updates that include bug fixes, performance improvements, and new features. The User acknowledges that the Software may automatically check for available updates upon launch.
11.1. Clipa reserves the right to suspend or cancel the User's license at any time if the User violates these Terms, uses the Software fraudulently, or attempts to circumvent licensing mechanisms.
11.2. The User may stop using the Software and uninstall it at any time. Uninstallation does not entitle the User to a refund for the current period, except within the 15-day refund window.
Clipa reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page and take effect immediately upon publication. Continued use of the Software after publication of modifications constitutes acceptance.
13.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Mexican States.
13.2. For the resolution of any dispute arising from these Terms, the parties expressly submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tula de Allende, Hidalgo, Mexico.
